The idea

Why the name holds
A flat steel bar clamped in a bench vise and bent cold to ninety degrees; the mill scale has cracked off at the bend.
Fig. 01 — 8 mm flat bar, bent coldThe bend is the brand
Metal gets harder where it bends.

Cold working is what a fabricator does to steel below its recrystallisation point. Bend the bar and the metal at the bend comes back harder than the stock it came from. Every welder knows it.

It is the founder's trade and the brand's whole argument in one shop-floor fact. It is also a statement about steel, not about a body, so the idea of getting durable through work arrives without a single health claim.

One bar of flat stock. Two bends. The worked bend is the only gold in the mark.

The mark is drawn as filled shapes, not strokes, so a digitiser or a laser can take it without redrawing. The wordmark is Bebas Neue converted to outlines with one change: the L is rebuilt as bent stock, with the same concentric bend as the mark.

Bar

Voice

Five rules. No medical claims.
Scarred, chalked hands wrapping a black hand wrap, seated on a steel bucket beside a welding helmet and vise.
Shop words, not clinic words
  1. Shop words, not clinic words.

Grip, bearing, cable, swivel, rounds, lot, tolerance. Never heal, recover, therapy, inflammation, alignment, activate. If a word belongs on a physio's intake form, it stays off our label.

  2. Spec before feeling.

The first line of any product block is a number. Emotion is allowed only after the reader knows what they are holding.

  3. Claim the work, never the outcome.

Say what the tool demands, never what a body will do. No strength, mobility, fat-loss, injury or fascia promises. That is a legal line, not a style choice.

  4. Second person, imperative, short.

Under 14 words a sentence in product copy. If the line could run on a supplement bottle, rewrite it.

  5. One voice per surface.

The founder speaks in first person on video and in email. The brand speaks in the imperative on packaging and product pages. Never both in one paragraph.

WEIGHTED JUMP ROPE

$29.99
  • Half-pound handles. 5 mm steel cable, PVC-jacketed. Sealed bearings that don't gum up when the rope is soaked.

Line 1 · spec first, three facts, no adjectives
  • Heavy enough that a sloppy round shows up in the first thirty seconds. That is the point.

Line 2 · demands the work, promises nothing about you
  • Cut it to your height once with the hex key, lock the set screw, and stop thinking about the rope.

Line 3 · imperative, zero claims
  • Restore fascial glide, prevent injury and unlock explosive power in 30 days.

Never. Medical claim, outcome promise, supplement grammar.

Spec figures are proposed. Confirm against the supplier sample.
